This island's stepped crescents sport three looks and serve three purposes. From lowest to highest, the cooktop section shines in zebrawood and granite; the prep area wears stainless steel and granite; and the breakfast bar sparkles in fractured glass. Outer cabinets and track lighting echo the curvy concept.

Stop whinning, this shape is not usual & that is great. Use your own materials and make it your own, does not have to be lavish and they are feasible. If you want the run of the mill simple, you don't need to look at pictures for that. Get you some base cabinets, put a countertop of your choice on it and call it a day.

1/26/2010 05:30:28 PM Report AbuseI agree please show what the average person can afford. They are really nice however I would like to see islands in the lower price range.
1/26/2010 09:59:15 AM Report AbuseThis is great! My husband and I have been so dissapointed with the same ole, same ole, islands built, with typical box store cabinets clumped together. This will work great with our newly opened 3 rooms into 1 open concept space.
1/25/2010 01:52:11 PM Report AbuseI agree. I was so excited to see this topic because we are getting ready to open up our galley-style kitchen and are looking for some good ideas for the island we want in our "simple" home. This was a disappointment.
1/25/2010 12:35:57 PM Report AbuseI agree! I cannot afford lavish... How about simple Islands!
