what color and brand is the paint for the cabinets?

If I see one more white kitchen on this site I am just going to delete your mail. I know I am older than most of you members ,but I remember white kitchens of the fifties with curtins under the sinks and all the other things your designers seem to "think-up", but the reason we went past those ideas was, there better ways to to acheive a more cohesive look to a room. Please don't take us back to the dark ages of design

Please give me a life without a white kitchen.

Not White again. Give us a break. we cook in these kitchens, don't have maids to clean and most of us have small kitens. Give us some everyday life kitchens not some fairytale wish of a kitchen

This is better. More practical. Please tell your designer to design for "real" life. Ideas are great but what we have to live with is more helpful

White cabinets really? curtains under the sink yuck!where do the "now" designers get their ideas, looking at what we hated in the '50's

To add to amyphalon's request on small size kitchen, I am also in the same situation and would greatly benefit from ideas on how to maximize very small kitchens. thanks!

Do you have any design ideas for a small kitchen? It seems all of the "small" kitchen ideas are for open-concept rooms or are still large enough for an island, 6-burner stove top, wall ovens, and/or a dinning table. I don't consider that small. I need a design that fits the basics: fridge, range, sink and storage into an 8'X8' room.

I wonder what the upkeep on painted tile is?

Does this only work on the backsplash tiles? Can you paint selected tiles or do you have to do the whole field? I would love to get rid of the white tile/white grout on my countertops without a major renovation or mess.
