Yes I have heard that and it also shows cut areas when you cut veggies or bread on the Corian. I would not like to have it and would not buy it.

My Corian countertop split at the seam and cracked across. Dupont CLAIMED it was due to heat and refused to honor the warantee. Hate it and never miss an opportunity to tell people.
