Placing the sink in front of a window on an angled wall opens the corner to the outdoors, extending the feel of a small space. This sink's close proximity to the stove simplifies cleanup after cooking.
I think corner sinks should only be used if they are the second sink in a kitchen. My Mom had a designer remodel her kitchen and put in a corner sink like this one and turned the kitchen into a one-cook-only kitchen. There is no room for two people to wash dishes, rinse veggies, prep food...it's terrible, not my reccomendation from a practical standpoint.
Humm... good point about the corner sink. It does make it more difficult for two people to work together. Thanks for pointing that out!
