I agree with ladymb2, these are ideas. There are ways to save a little money on remodels: do any tear-out yourself, don't be in a rush (sometimes freight can be combined) and remember quality is important. Seconds/Builder Grade products have flooded the market and it is better to pay once by using a professional and using only first quality products.

Im pretty sure this is just showing you options that are out there. You may not be able to afford these but if you have a budget, a designer can help you stick to it, no problem. And today, many designers are giving their services free of charge at design centers (including mine, Home Floors in Tampa).

Pretty, but oh so expensive tile. Too bad you don't remember that everyone doesn't have a $70,00 budget for makeovers.

I was very disappointed that you did not mention Duraceramic tiles as a possiblity for flooring in kitchen/bath/or even foyer. I have had it installed for over a year.................................it's easy to clean, keeps it's beauty, and is 'easy' on arthritic knees, ankles, etc.
