Materials to Buy

  • Laminate flooring
  • Underlayment (one roll covers approximately 100 square feet)
  • Laminate floor installation kit (available at home centers and specialty retailers)
  • Finishing nails (to reinstall the trim pieces)

Tools to Gather

  • Pry bar
  • Utility knife
  • Tape measure
  • Pencil
  • Circular saw or handsaw
  • Hammer
