Step 6: Cut the first row
You may have to cut the first row of planks lengthwise, depending on the results of your calculations in Step 4. Use a pencil and masking tape to mark cut lines and irregular wall contours on planks. Cut with the finished side down when using a power saw so you don’t end up removing the grooves that connect it to other pieces. When using a handsaw, cut with the finished side up.
