• White latex paint

  Here's our original door.

Step 1: Clean and lightly sand door.

Step 2: Apply a stain-blocking primer and allow to air dry.

Step 3: Brush two or three coats of green paint onto the door’s recessed area and allow to dry.

Step 4: Tape off the edges of the center raised panel and apply two coats of magnetic paint. Let dry for at least 24 hours.

Step 5: Paint magnetic area with two coats of white latex paint and allow to dry.

Step 6: Tape off the panel and recessed areas and apply hammered-metal spray paint over the remaining areas.

Step 7: Place presized magnets on door.
